Samantha Camera, LMFTA

As a solution-focused & cognitive-behavioral therapist, I will work with you to resolve problems and reach your goals. We will collaborate to ensure that your goals are achievable, as well as plan out active steps along the way. I will help you gain insight about your symptoms and how they are affected by your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. We will focus on identifying and changing unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior while also enhancing your strengths. Building on your strengths can help you feel more empowered and engaged in the therapeutic process, leading to better outcomes. As you learn tools and strategies, I will help you apply those strategies effectively. My belief is that you know what is best for you, and my job is to help and support you as you work to reach your goals. If you are interested in making meaningful change, I look forward to the opportunity to help you!

I work with teens (age 13 and up), adults, and couples. I provide telehealth therapy only. I am a Gottman certified couple's therapist.

Initial Intake

The intake session is our first meeting. We will thoroughly discuss your history, concerns, symptoms, and goals for therapy. We will also work towards determining goodness of fit. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to determine if we will work well together. I encourage you to research other therapists and find the best provider to fit your needs. As we work together past the intake session, we will continue to explore your experiences, address symptoms, develop strategies, and set new goals as needed. The intake session is 60 minutes.

Fee:  $165

Therapy Sessions

Short term and long term treatment is available depending on your therapy goals. Typically, sessions are weekly or bi-weekly at the start of treatment. As you make progress and get closer to your goals, the frequency of sessions can be reduced. Some clients prefer to continue frequent sessions to maintain their progress and address new issues or stressors. Others choose to return to therapy for monthly sessions or as needed. Sessions are 55 to 60 minutes. Most insurance plans cover unlimited sessions per year. Check with your insurance carrier for any limitations and your out of pocket cost.

*Billing is submitted with Jennifer Koch, Psy.D. as primary provider. Samantha is an associate therapist under direct supervision w/ Dr. Koch. This is referred to as "incident to" billing and is authorized with Regence plans.
