My Approach To Therapy

I approach therapy from a trauma-informed lens utilizing person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic approaches, acceptance-based therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I’m flexible, warm, light-hearted, gentle, collaborative, and I deeply desire to create a therapeutic relationship with each of my clients that ensures that they feel heard and safe. I don’t believe in robotic blank-slate therapy. With me, you’ll encounter a human that also experiences the good and the difficult things in life. You might laugh with me, have fun with me, or cry with me, and all are a part of the human experience.

I provide an individualized approach to therapy, which means I combine interventions and approaches from various evidence-based theories. We’ll work together to figure out what you’re looking for and adjust as needed. I believe that you are the expert of yourself and my goal is to come alongside you and support you as you process your life experiences and goals. My primary relational goals for your therapy experience are for you to feel empowered, believed, trusted, and for you to feel safe to access deep processing. I approach things that come up in therapy with curiosity and an open mind. We’ll work together to create your own personal goals and work towards those goals collaboratively and at your own pace.

I work with adults ages 18 and up. I provide exclusively telehealth therapy options.
